Depends. If you are trying to find out about a persons personality, then ask questions.

Character questions work well, like background growing up and beliefs, religious beliefs if important, hobbies, how do they carry themselves? Demeanor, like body language, politeness, self confidence.

What do they do for a living. How many siblings. Age plays an important role due to the eras of beliefs and our morals.

Does this person date a lot, are they carefree, how are there living quarters. Look at the way the place is decorated. Music?

Clothes, hair style, shoes? Do they take care of themselves?

How are they towards their parents and other older figures?

What kind of insight does this person have. Are they aware of their own faults, are they arrogant, do they listen, or do they talk only of themselves. Are they interested in you? On and On
