before steve irwin made his mark on cable wrestling aligators I HAD never before heard of such a thing or even imagined it.
because of his unique positive attitude and his on camera persona, he doubled his cable vewing audience by sharing his crocodile adventures and then spread out to all other animals.
thats what he did. I know he introduced something unique and interesting in my life.

I think he will be remembered like Jacques Cousteau, they had a love for nature, a flair for business, and an incredible amount of courage. No one has composed a song that I know of yet, but I'm sure an Australian will soon enough.
Both weren't just conservationists, they were people who used TV to convey a dynamism which a book or newspaper cannot.

He cared alot about conserving animals. He started a zoo in Australia.
