i will go for a trip to malaysia ( my honey moon ) and i want to go know how can i get a good way for going from kuala to penang or lankawi as air flights is very expensive and even not available.

from KL to Penang = RM 30- 40++/ person Via Bus
from KL to Kuala Kedah/ Alor Setar = RM 40-50++/ person Via Bus
from Kuala Kedah/ Alor Setar = RM 15-20++/person Via Ferry

By air-con bus from KL to Penang takes about 6 to 7 hours and can be done during thee day or at night. To get to Langkawi travel by bus to either Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis (further north) and take the Hi-speed Ferry across.
The whole trip should be between 150 and 200 Rm per person for each destination.
