There is some stuff that I left on other message boards that never seems to disappear, and I wrote them years ago. Lets say that a future employer wants to get the dirt on you...and googles your name...the site will come up where you posted some ideas that you no longer have. How can you eliminate those writings or postings?

You can't, which is the best reason to proceed with caution.

Posing as someone else, or a company,
you can try emailing the message board's administrator, stating that the corrent email address is no longer being used by so and so (name), and has been transferred to you. You would like to request that the details posted there be removed.

If he's kind enough he'll do it for you.
