My mother-in-law during my first pregnancy HARRASED me very badly in Thailand (we called her here for few days) - he abused me my parents, tried to beat me, and compelled me for divorce etc etc. NOW its 1 1/2 years passed -- Whenever my husband talks to her on phone , he develops a DIFFERENT RUDE behaviour with me . Yesterday also he called her and after talking behaved a stranger with me.. i said ur mother was too violent abusive to me.. he started shouting NO NO my mother is a good lady, u are telling a lie --- although he used to be in his factory and i used be all alone with his mother..My parents are poor my husband says u can go to your parents. I CANNOT FORGET ALL THAT TORTURE OF HER MOTHER TO ME..I WANT TO TEACH THAT LADY A LESSON.SHE IS NOW ALSO THE SAME TYPE-- SHE IS SPREADING NEGATIVE RUMORS ABOUT ME..

Sorry for the situation u are facing, u first try to convince ur husband. Since they are living away from you and your husband, mean while u try to change the mind of your husband. If it is not possible atleast by looking your child ask him to change his mind, if not then u go to the nearest police station situated in that place and try to tell the position there., I hope the police persons would give him a big lesson so that they will not open their mouth again and again.
Or many institutions for women harrasment and help will be there u try to contact them and explain clearly their problem.

Try and adjust with them or quietly come out of their house, obtain divorce and never never marry again. If you cannot adjust here, you may not adjust in any other family also. Change own attitude, test yourself before examiners (inlaws) and prove yourself a good wife and daughter in law.

u can always try to take into confidence ur hubby try to convince him that u r not lying.also when ur MIL is not staying with u people then it is always posibble to try and gain support of ur husband. also one thing that i m doing is just ignore all the statements that ur hubby of ur MIL tells u or speaks when they r in bad mood. if u can do just try to keep quiet as much as possible and dont react to any negetive statements try this in no more but in short time ur hubby will realise the truth

If you want to snatch him from his mother, give him food of his choice. He will come to you. All need mother. You child, if any also want his mother. I am 51 yrs. and in case of problem, I remember my mother. My wife cooks for her children but she refuse to cook for me. I want mother (she is expired) who can cook for me.
