I don't think the Yahoo staff actually looks at the question or answers - they just send out a violation whenever someone reports abuse -- it's not right

i got reported for asking questions and i wasn't being invasive...i think that "chatting" is too broad a complaint and people just use that button to report like mad. i haven't yet reported on a question, just some response that i got which were blatantly insulting...and not even a bit off.....then i ignored it. but this whole yahoo answers is a massive instant messenger chat room anyway where people can see everyone else's response...i mean we are perfect strangers. i don't get it either. <3koalas

I think yahoo should run a competition once in a while and whoever wins gets to batter a snitch for half an hour with foam battons and paintball guns.

If we want to get technical, every question is chatting by getting feedback, and yours was phrased as a question so it complies. The person who reported you is an idiot. Enough said.

I guess it's just some butthole who decided to mess with you. It's not an offensive question at all. My thoughts, if they report you for asking what's in their pockets, then they got something in their pockets they they've gotta hide and THEY should be reported.
