Girl,
I know that you are already worried, but this could be something really serious, like MS or LUPUS.and reading your story, makes me feel like you are living a little in denial, because you really don't want this to be anything, which is understandable.but you need to have that checked out so you can go on with your life..and not have to worry about...even if you just go and they tell you OK it is something really minor and there is medication to make you feel better..
I mean the symptoms that you are describing are not normal and I am appalled that the doc is not doing anything for you..If you cannot get a referral out of him, switch docs...

Yes, you need to see a neurologist. Go ahead and tell your regular doctor that you want a referral. If you don't ask for one, it may be months until he finally gives you one. That's just how some doctors are...they don't always have the patient's best interests in mind.
Also, ask the doctor about multiple sclerosis...my grandmother has that and has the same symptoms as you.

You didn't tell if you have developed myopathy;I mean wasting of the muscles gradually. Anyway to get it tested by a neuologist is a very good idea. Go and do it.

i think this is a psychological problem and your doctor know but there is no need for medication because in this situation you will need benzodiazepine like zolam or xanxan and they affect memory in addition to the risk of addiction just relax
