I don't believe any astronaut has come out and admitted directly to sexual activity in space, but the question has been asked to the Director of NASA Space Program once before. His answer was 'we have no official mandate to experiment and study sex in space but the astronauts have their own free time in which they can do with it as they please'. It is amusing to see just recently a NASA female astronaut was arrested for trying to kidnap & murder another female astronaut because they both had a crush on the same Space Shuttle pilot. This astronaut Lisa Nowak had already flown a NASA mission on the Space Shuttle with Shuttle pilot William Oefelein previously so my guess is they both must have had some pretty strong feelings for each other if resorting to kidnap becomes an option. So in short I'd guess it'll be 90% sure some sort of copulation has taken place beyond the confines of Earth, or as you probably know the orgasms is space are 'out of this world' and supposedly last for around 3-5 minutes. Wow! No wonder the NASA physical is so rigid.

Astronauts Mark Lee and Jan Davis, a married couple, flew together on shuttle mission STS-47. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if their colleagues gave them privacy to join the "200 Mile High" club.

BTW, the astronauts sleep in soft sleeping bags attached to the wall. If you put two people in one of those, you'd have plenty to push against. It would work.

That said, my sex life is no one's business and I don't see why the astronauts should be treated differently.

Try having sex underwater in a swimming pool... that's what it would be like trying to have sex in a space shuttle in outer space. Not impossible... but definitely hard. At least the penetration would be nice.

The last couple of days has produced some proof that such a situation may be a certainty.
Check your local news paper.
I think NASA warns them not to kiss and tell!

Its gotta be challenging with nothing to push against, probably go flying all over the place. But I'd like to try! Where do I sign up?
