Is the gaming community still very much the abode of the middle class male geek, or as the target audience broadens and gameplay and graphics are evolving, are video games a part of daily life that everyone can enjoy? Share your views!

I don't think the image of a game geek applies anymore. I play PC games, my dad plays, my wife plays and my 5-year old brother plays. Kind of a diverse mix.

i love my games does that make me a gamer? i love pc games love playstation love psp love retro games love mind games and love drinking games ador sex games does that make me a geek? i can talk till the cows come home about diffrent aspect of each type of game i play im f24uk

i doubt it i'm like the first dude and i love strategy games good way to rack your brain beside's if you play shooters you get faster hand eye cordination good for games off the systems like dodgeball etc....

Yes, it's the still the same. If you are a "gamer" chances are you don't get laid..and Lara Corft doesn't count.
