That is ridiculous, Astronauts are space travelers, and are the same as Airforce they don't do covert ground activities. But we could have them drop a stealth down from space and nuke the bastards. However that is why this is a stupid war. We have the shuttle and we are all forgetting that we control the atmosphere from space now, America is the world power and this war being conventional was Ignorant on the people's part as well as on the politicians. We do not need an infantry at all other than a maintaining troop effort. With the Shuttle we have the real Star Wars capability, we can launch the fighters and bombers and they can come in and out of the shuttle while circling and enter and exit the atmosphere without burning up eh?
So why are we bothering with the infantry? Because of money and brainwashing! We can knock out Iran anytime Duh? This is all a smoke screen. The public has a very short term memory all the time. They need to wake up. Those tinker toy airplanes that bombed the WTCs were nothing compared with what our capabilities are in this world of ours. The damage we can do is amazing. We always could have destroyed those puny little scum bags but it was a vendetta mission and they have succeeded in brainwashing everyone with scare tactics. Good Luck.

Your points are unrelated, but here goes. Ahmadinejad will be ultimately replaced by the Mullahs of Iran because he is losing popularity with the Iranian people. He's ignoring domestic economic problems for various reasons, plus Iranians are suffering because of existing UN boycotts, and they do not want a war with the west. In the '80's they lost close to a million casualties vs Iraq. Iran remembers those losses. The Iranian people are generally peaceful. There will be no need to kidnap him because he will be replaced with a reformist.
As for crapping in space, they use vacuums to do it. It sucks the waste into a disposable bag & is returned to earth along with any other samples Cape Canaveral would want to analyze.
