Underneath the Google Search Box you will see the following:
Advertsisng Programmes - Business Solutions - About Google - Go to Google.com.
Click on the last one - Go to Google .com

The answer suggested by Hunner is best but www.google.co.in looks better than www.google.com

that usually happens because Google recognize your location. (i don't like it also)
so at the main page,
you should have a link that says
"Google.com in English"
simply press it, and your life will get back to normal (:

HI...I met the same problem couple a weeks ago...what i did is i opened www.google.com.pk....as i am in pakista then i click home and go to the mai page.

Just click the link on the google.co.in page to "Go to google.com"

you live in india right?
it will always default to your closest server point.
try adding .au or .sg etc.. this will give you more options, but as to accessing the us version i have no idea, i find the australian version very good.
