Forever stuck in the 80's, here are my opinions:

1. "Come on Eileen" is a guilty pleasure, but can only listen to it once in awhile.

2. "Blister In The Sun" is the only song I am familiar with from this group, but I have always liked it due to its uniqueness in sound and lyrics.

3. "Cruel Summer" falls under the same category as #1, but the girls are better to look at.

4. "My Sharona" never gets old to me, and really rocks it.

5. Great songs to choose from The Motels, but "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer" are hard for me to choose between, but I guess the latter would have to win out as it is a bit more moody.

6. Culture Club-sorry, while "Karma Cameleon" and others are O.K., I have to pass on this group. Just my opinion.

7. While an ardent 80's fan, esp. New Wave and Rock, I am embarassed to say I have heard of The Mighty Lemon Drops, but none of their songs. Just being honest.

Here are some 80's New Wave "under the radar" songs for you:

"How Soon Is Now?" by The Smiths, "I Could Be Happy" by Altered Images, and "Under the Milky Way" by The Church.

regarding the bands mentioned, I'd be interested in The Motels as far as a concert, and the others are one hit wonders, but still pretty good.

Rory Emerald isn't well know here in the States, but Kilroy is-just thought I'd pass that on.
