Ok, well I am a college student and my roommate (who is also in college) and I are looking to add to our DVD library. We usually host parties, poker nights, etc with our friends. We want to know what are some must have guy movies that we should definitely have in our collection? Keep in mind that it has to be available on DVD so it can't be some western movie from the 1950s if it hasn't been remastered in DVD form. Some easy examples are Scarface, Good Fellas, Fight Club, and Boondock Saints. So, just add some movies to the list, that have guy/college humor or action in them. Thanks!

I am going to give away my age here with some of my recommendations. A guy movie has three requirements: 1) nekkid chicks; 2) humor; and 3) violence.

In addition to those already mentioned I will add Stripes, Slapshot, Animal House, Caddyshack and Starship Troopers.

Personally I like actors that play both parts, the good guy in some movies and the bad guy in others. It gives you some thinking power about how they are in real life and what would they do if they were split and faced themselves, the good side vs the bad side. Who would win? I recall a Star Trek movie where Captain Kirk accidentally got split in the transporter when he was being beamed back onto the ship from the planet below. He eventually fought himself and the good side almost lost. Being split made his good side's identity weaker. I liked Star Wars where Luke Skywalker faught his own father, Darth Vadar. That is definitely good vs evil in a fight to the finish.
