Why don't you buy a region free DVD player.
I bought one for $80 U.S and now I buy cheap DVDs or VCDs from all over the world and watch them.
All DVDs have codings AUS/NZ region does not play DVDs from Europe but if you get a Region Free DVD player you can watch them anywhere in the world. Not to mention you can get them on ebay much cheaper.

Try the Language Book Centre in York Street Sydney, fo to their website. Alternatively try the Goethe Institute in Woollahra. They have a library.
