I read a story a few years ago, but need some oppinons.

It was redone on a believe or not show but i missed if it was true or not.

In 1903 or so, a young woman and her mother were coming to Paris from India where she had burried her husband after he got the black plague.
everything seemed all right, and this was during a world's fair.
the consier (pier somethng) checked them in and bid them goodnight.
Later that night the mother got very sick. The daughter did not knwo what to do, so she went down and asked Pier if he could call a doctor.

A doctor came and examined the mother. after a couple of minutes he turned to the woman and asked her to follow him.

Outside on the street, he told the widow that he needed her to run an errand for him. He wrote some information on a sheet of paper and handed it to her.

When a cab shows up he speaks for a min with the cab and then leads her to it.

Nearly 4 hrs later the widow returns to the hotel. However when she enters the

lobby, Pier does not recognize her and asks her name and if she is staying there.

The woman is confused and since she has no key with her, she can only offer a room number, and a desciption of who she is.

He refuses to say that he recognizes her and she demands a police man's help.

Pier says there is one outiside and he comes in. Whne she demands to see her room, they all three go to it.

However instead of her mother answering, a older man appears. She looks around the room and everything is different. All her clothes, items, wall paper and furniture have changed or are gone.

The officer ends up offering her a ride to the station to sort it out.

It is said many years later Pier spilled his guts on his death bed.

When the doctor saw the molther, he knew immedately she had the black plague. Wanting to get the daughter away, he wrote a prescription for colored water on a note, and asked the cab driver to take his time. The Police Officer was even in on it, and they

No that was just a story, because if it had been the plague the doctor would have had the widow guaranteed as soon as he saw the mother had the plague.

ok, i am going to't trust i am going to tell one on myself yet right here it is going. many years lower back, a chum of mine and that i have been activity searching together. We went to a city Human factors progression to prepare for some jobs there. The H R progression develop right into a perfect sq. progression that had double the front/go out doorways on all 4 outside walls. We walked as a lot as one set of double doorways and there develop right into a hand written note with an arrow pointing to the left announcing "Please use different door." So we walked to the subsequent side of the progression to the subsequent set of double doorways and there develop into that very similar note. So again, we walked to the third side of the progression to locate yet another note. We walked to the perfect side of the progression and occasional and behold develop into the very similar note. All 4 notes pronounced Please use different door with an arrow pointing to the left. finally someone that worked on the place of work got here walking as a lot as enter the progression. My chum requested the guy how we were meant to get into the progression. He opened the left side of the double doorways and pronounced clone of that. We then realized the notes were only announcing the right door develop into locked to apply the left door.
