I think it is more irresponsible. I fell pregnant with a fifth baby after I had asked my husband to have a vasectomy after my forth. He didn't. We would use condoms but so often when we had finished we had found that the condom was completely broken and he had ejaculated inside of me, that is accidental, but irresponsible because it wouldn't have happened if he got fixed. I had the morning after pill numerous times because of this. I cannot take the pill as I have a forgetfull memory and would take them for a couple of weeks then start to slacken off. Irresponsible. We started the pull out method, I knew that accidents could happen and warned him that I could fall pregnant using this method, nah he says and I fell pregnant. Stupidity.
you can accidently fall pregnant only if you had taken precautions not to fall pregnant and still did, but not with the pull out method thats stupidity. If not planned and you weren't trying, I think it would be both irresponsible and stupidy depending on how you fell prenant. Gosh hope that made sense

Wow, aren't you judgmental.
Yes they do. And sometimes it is neither irresponsible behavior or stupidity. Condoms break, and some people are very fertile. Everyone knows the woman in her circle that can't not get pregnant, even using more than one form of birth control. A friend has a daughter who was conceived while she was on the pill.
It's called birth control failure. Do you think car accidents happen? Same concept basically. Something goes wrong that was unexpected.

relying on unsafe measures, and being an idiot. most birth control works if used properly. Condoms break, leak or fall off. Pills work most effeciently when taken at the same time everyday. Some people say it was an accident, because they didn't WANT to get pregnant, but also did not TRY to prevent it. Pulling out is not birth control, it's just luck if you don't get pregnant. Timing is also not birth control, as technically you can get pregnant at ANY time of the month. Accidents are just stupidity or bad luck, plain and simple... Broken condoms = bad luck. Pulling out = stupid.

"Couples" don't get pregnant. Women do---and no birth control is 100% so it's possible to have an accidental conception. BUT, if they are having unprotected relations and don't want a child that's not an accident. That's being irresponsible.

Yes, it's possible. My friend had a vasectomy, but it takes several weeks to get rid of the sperm still in the testes. No one told him this and he had sex. He now is a Father, again.
My mother was on on birth control meds and doctors thought that she was pregnant and took her off. Thinking that she was already pregnant she still had sex. I am the result of a doctors **** up! She wasn't pregnant while on birth control, but she was after!
When someone has unprotected sex, and "pulls out", there still might me pre-*** in the vagina which contains sperm. That is an unintentional pregnancy. Sometimes it's an excuse, other times, it's true.

They sure do happen. I was responsible and was on birth control and because my boyfriend and I had been together for 3 years we weren't using condoms. We didn't need to protect each other from stds and at 3 years we should be enjoying sex. I got pregnant even though I was taking birth control.

I was on the pill, took it everyday at the same time, and I still got pregnant. Birth control is only 99% effective. I also knew a lady that got pregnant even though she was on the birth control shot

It is not irresponsibility, nor is it stupidity. My 2 sisters and I were "accidents". And, by the way, to me personally, each pregnancy is planned -- by God. We are all a blessing.
