I would think that a rate several times that 10% would be more accurate. I am including both the active homosexual and the passive one and the bi-sexual and the so-called bi-curious and the anyone that does not fit those labels, who has ever had sex with their own gender.
I wonder why the term "homosexual" usually connotes a male who has a sexual preference for another male. I think that even more females engage in lesbian practices but are not called homosexuals per se.
I once saw an article that said the percentage of all persons who have engaged in homosexual liasons is over 25% but no valid reason was given for that figure.

The Indiana University Kinsey Reports of 1948 reported 10% of males being more or less exclusively homosexual. These results have been repeatedly confirmed by subsequent studies such as the 1990 study Homosexuality/Heterosexuality by McWhirter, Sanders, and Reinisch which stated 13.95% of males were gay and the 1993 Janus Report on Sexual Behavior that found 9% of men to be gay.

Isn't it amazing just how brainwashed these women can be - to those silly uneducated ones, the sight of a fully natural penis is appalling and they don't want to know unless it's been mutilated - sometimes by a surgeon but sadly mostly by a bloke with a sharp knife wearing a "religious" costume who has no thoughts for the pain and possible problems in the future he will give to the child - and on top of that, it's usually done in the front room ! ! !

It is very difficult to calculate even the approximate number of gay people, and in estimating even roughly how many gay people there are anywhere, the following points have to be kept in mind:
How many people we estimate are homosexual depends on how we define homosexuality.
Many more people experience sexual feelings for someone of the same sex than report recent sexual experience with someone of the same sex.
Because homosexuality is stigmatised it is more likely to be under than over reported.
The 10% is however a reasonable number.

The commonly-quoted 10% is from a very old study, which was highly flawed. In fact, the latest research seems to indicate between 1% and 3% of males are completely homosexual, and about 0.1% of females. The much higher numbers are quoted by gay activists and other biased groups in order to make this "lifestyle" (i.e., sin) more accepted. Whatever the percentage, they need sympathy and psychological treatment, not acceptance.

I think that 10% sounds about right. I think it's higher than other percentages I've seen.
