If he works in an office Get a nice Tie, if not, socks or a wallet. Depends how much you want to spend, don't go too overboard as I had a girlfriend and she showered me with too many expensive prezzies and it scared me off. Something practical and what he will use is something I would suggest.
Hope you have a nice day.

Don’t know what to get your fella for Valentine's day. Well this could be the answer to the problem of buying for your tricky predicament.
The Gentleman's Ballscratcher!
Ideal for the days when hands are just not precise enough, the Gentleman's Ball Scratcher is in the shape of a delicate female hand for those hard to reach places. The 9' handle provides excellent extra length to help get around difficult obstacles (beer bellies, old pizza, empty beer cans etc.) and provide the relief so many crave...
And it definitely is not in your face!

A funny card and a nice bottle of wine to share or a teddy that says 'youre cute' nothing that says I love you!!
I personally don't do valentines, its just another day in another year......but it's always nice to do something for your 1st valentines with someone.

Presuming you are over 18, I would get a jokey (not slushy) card and a nice bottle of wine so you can share it together. That way if he hasnt got you anything it doesnt look like you have gone too overboard, and if he has got you something nice- well you're worth it aren't you!?!

I wouldn't get anything, I hate valentines day with a passion, because I am romantic all year round, and hate the idea that every chav Kevin in the country who usually treats their g/f like muck suddenly becomes Mr Romantic for the evening because Clintons tell them to
Hate it!

One person mentioned the thing I have suggested before, a single rose, maybe a nice card, and perhaps a pound shop stuffed animal.
The main thing is to keep it light and fun, and as ssaid, not forward.

Personally I wouldn't get anything, but if you want get him one red rose with ribbons on it. Or a chocolate heart or some other kind of sweet.
Love is forever not just one day. We should show it every day not only on valentiens day and make the florist and confectionary shops rich.

Just a plain, Happy Valentines card, nothing all "HALLMARK" and maybe a small stuffed animal, or a single pink rose...(red means love) so pink wont be too forward ;)

Im not sure where you get them from, but someones told me about em, they sound fun. Its a 'loving' style checkbook, you get like ten in the booklet and he can use them as 'requests' you may be able to get them online somewhere
