Stress: shaking of legs

Lying: Face turned away, no eye contact, or looking to the left (fabricating information). Also wiping hands on pants to get rid of sweat or fidgeting with hands

Aggression: Clenched fists, squaring of shoulders, stiffening of posture, tensing of muscles

Anxiety: Massaging temples, different than normal breathing rates, hunched shoulders, nervous head movements

Looking down, face turned away - Disbelief

Tapping or drumming fingers - Impatience

1. - A woman who tilts her head to one side - this is generally a sign of vulnerability and seems to be intuitively understood by most people- Positive example.

2. - The sexually assertive female displays one or both thumbs tucked into her pants/skirt belt or pocket. - Positive example.

3. - A guy leaning back in his chair with one leg over the arm of the chair shows lack of concern or indifference for the situation or problem being presented to him and may feel he's wasting his time here!! - Negative example

4. A guy sitting down, hands up behind his head with the elbows menacingly pointed out. This would be used to intimidate others or maybe it implys a relaxed attitude to lull you into a false sense of security just before he ambushes you. !! - Negative one.

5. Sitting in a chair, leaning forward, both hands on knees, in readiness to end an encounter or a conversation. - Positive one.

6. Having a discussion with somebody who proclaims that are in agreement with you but meantime they are nervously picking imaginary lint off their pants/sweater. This would mean that the lint picker has a secret opinion and prefers not to state it.

1. Pleasant, meaningful, open and straight 'Eye Expression';
2. Gentle and smooth 'Voice Modulation';
3. Unalloyed and clear 'Facial Expression'.

All the above 3 positive body languages explain that you are genuine and clear in your thoughts and in its associated actions that will follow. They are bound to bring the desired outcome to the people concerned.

1. Casual and sarcastic look;
2. Dull and mechanical voice;
3. Lifeless or crude facial expression.

The above 3 negative examples can only bring about unpleasant feelings to the opponent. He / she will close the mind partially or fully resulting in poor response to whatever matter the individuals concerned are involved.

Positive:

1. smile - sign of happiness
2. wide open, raised arms - sign of welcome, warmth and openness
3. body proximity - sign of trust

Negative:
1. creased eyebrows - worrying
2. arm akimbo - sign of bossiness and indifference
3. legs crossed - sign of wariness.
