All the sudden my Wii decided to stop detecting my remote, so I can't do anything. I clicked Mii's and then all the sudden it stopped detecting. When I press anything, all 4 of the little blue lights at the end of the remote blink. I'm standing in front of the TV and I just got the Wii not more than 24 hours ago. How can I fix this??

I emailed Nintendo and they replied back quickly with the solution. Remove batteries and turn off WII, turn it back on and when the health and safety screen comes on, re insert the batteries and press the synch button for 15sec. TY to the 3rd answer as well!

This has happened to me a couple of times. What's happened is that the remote and the wii have de-synched. To fix this, open theSD card slot on the wii. You should see a red button. Now open the battery compartment on the remote. there should also be a red button. Press both of these at the same time and wait for the lights on the remote to stop flashing. This should re-synch the remote to the wii. If it doesn't work, try again. It may take a few attempts.

Maybe its the batteries. And check that the Wii has all wires on. If problems persist, take the warranty, receipt and Wii back to the store where you bought it.
