Know anyone who's been using PCs for a while? Or someone in the IT department at school/college/work? They'll have some lying around, especially if they're magpies like me who never throw anything away that could possibly be useful!
Failing which, try a PC repair shop who might give you one for nowt.
If all else fails, try eBay.

Most power cables are so standard, ask your friends first. Or go to any of the zillion PC shops.
I would be surprised if they don't just give you one. Heck, I probably have 15 at my desk!
Should only be a couple bucks.
