8 World Cups Tournaments have been held till now. AQustralia have won the Trophy 3 times, West Indies 2 times and India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan one time each. Australia have won the World Cup in 1987, 1999 and 2003

1983 India won
1987 Australia won
1992 Pakistan won
1996 Sril lanka won
1999 Australia won
2003 Australia won
So Australia won 3 world cups so far.
