what format do you have to put your videos in in order to burn them on a dvd burner?

The video should be in MPEG-2 format, but most burn apps out there like Nero can convert many different types (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, AVI, etc) straight to DVD-Video.

In my pass burn I don't remeber very well but you need to put in order by rename in order of alfabet convinated with Number movie chapters. I bolive this is the correct or tray Number and alfabet letters
