Probably, but not definitely.

Baby pooh can vary in colour from brown to yellow to green. Is he formula or breast fed? That changes colour too. How old is he? Younger babies (12 weeks and under) often have a great variance in stool colour. More important than colour, though, is texture. Did it seem really mucousy?

If it was quite green and runny without a lot of curds and you're breastfeeding, it probably just means he got a lot of fore-milk the last time you fed him (this happens with my daughter frequently, and she's exclusively breastfed. If he's getting lots of hind-milk, the fatty stuff near the back of the breast, it will be yellowish in tone).

If there are a lot of curds but it's green, he could just have an upset tummy, but that will probably pass.

If he's still got lots of green poohs in a few days and he seems more fussy than usual and/or he's got a fever, then I would worry about it. Otherwise, it's most likely perfectly normal.

Most likely fine. My baby had this too and nothing seemed to be wrong although I was concerned by it (it was the colour of grass!). It may have been bacteria in his system or a number of other things, however, if it seemed like diarrhea (very very runny, and fowl smelling) you may want to take him to the doctor as small babies can become dehydrated very easily. If baby is dehydrated the fontanels (soft spots) may look sunken, and baby's lips and mouth may look dry. Don't get too worried though if your baby seems happy and is eating well.
