I think, if it works for them and they like it - it's great! But if they're unhappy about it, it's not so good; means they can't prioritize effectively.

Any thing against nature will have negative consequence. Working lady looses her full energy during her day hrs in office, at the end of the day when she returns back at home its very comfortable to have get fresh and have some chat with family members and then have food and sleep. This becomes her routine. The word Marriage really shivers them reason being that will be only increasing her work load. ie 1) Home making 2) Personnel married life 3) New family and relations 4) Future growth of family .
It all depends on the type and quality of new home and members she get.
There are very few who cross the sea without others help.
Undergoing so much of trouble to just for sex is also not worth, as these gals have other alternate of getting that too. It makes them convenient to be single.

That's perfectly fine. A lot of men choose to be single too, not because they're not interesting in relationships, but because they want their lives to be simpler. Having a career, paying bills, balancing a schedule with social life... through all of this, having a relationship can complicate things for both men and women. As for women specifically, I'd say they're especially doing the right thing in being single. That's because unlike men, in a relationship they also have to worry about getting pregnant, and that can completely change a woman's career plans for the next several years, or even decades.

Okay, this is a hard one becuase there is no yes, no or both. Many women can do wonderfully having a career and raising children. Many women can't do only one very well. I believe it is how involved the women may be with her commitments and how energetic she is. If you are happy and receive positive feedback from your actions you are likelier to be at your best. I have friends in which the mother doesn't work, sleeps all day, barely will have food on the table. Usually feeds the kids cereal or pb&j.

Well, that is her choice- if she wanted to stay single.
I don't think it will have a bad effect on her younger sister and family.
As we grow older, we become wiser and mature enough about the things that's going on around us. Perhaps she wanted to stay that way because she's happy with that lifestyle and realized that being a single-career woman means having no heavy responsibilities.
Or perhaps she had a painful experience from her past relationships so she's saving herself from another heartache.
Nobody knows what's on her mind!

Its a free world, every person has reason or alibi for whatever decision he/she makes and if any woman chooses 2 me single, i believe she is happy about it and should be respected for her decision.
Also, it has nothing 2 do with the younger sister, but on the other hand if the younger one takes the big sister as a role model, fine.

Even though you are a major, you will be a headache to your family members and all will speak that something should wrong with your health or character.. That is fate in our society. But my kind advice is it is sheer escapism in life as you face problems that may come in your life. Think in your parent's angle. When you become aged and every body cares of their own family, you will feel lonely. All relations will be only on monetary basis having an eye over the savings you will be having. Rethink of avoiding marriage by thinking from exterior view.

No doubt it is individual choice. A career women choosing to remain single is her own decision and she should be ready to face the consequences. However one should realise that as one grows older he or she needs companionship all the more. Life without family can be not only tough but lonesome. So make your choice looking into the pros and cons.

Very admirable. It's a jungle out there and if she wants to brave this life alone, then she must be extra ordinary. It's her choice and her sister shouldn't get affected. The sister will come of age one day and will get her chance to decide whether she wants to be with someone or be like the older sister. Live and let live.

i think it is absolutely fine. The thing is that she is not dependent on anybody and she is comfortable being single then why should the family have any problem? on the other hand the family members should find out why does not she want to be in a relationship, may be she has a bad experience in the past.

I hope they'll always feel happy about their decision. Men are fortunate enough to be able to decide when they are 45, 'Wait- I want a family!'. Women do not have that luxury. Nobody should get married and have kids because that's what other people want, or in case they want it later, so they should stay single if that's what they want, I just hope they don't change their mind later.
