Put simply no there is no such thing as a time machine. But there are known ways to time travel. There is no known way to travel back in time but there is something called the Twin Paradox that arises from the special relativity and could be considered traveling forward in time.

The theory goes like this. Assume you have a set of twins born here on earth. One twin decides on his 20th birthday to be an astronaut and jumps into a rocket. He travels to a near by star well say Sirius which is roughly 8.6 light years away. Now since you can't travel at the speed light but he was in a bit of a hurry we will say the traveling twin travels at speeds close to the speed of light. The total trip time for him to Sirius is roughly 9 years. Once the twin arrives he realizes he left his tooth brush at home and makes a U turn back for earth taking another 9 years.

Upon arriving at Earth he finds his poor brother has aged 18 years and he has only aged 9! Well what happened is time travels when your speed approaches the speed of light. The actual interval of time is streched out

Time machine is a device used for traveling backwards and forwards in time. No. There is known machine but there are other ways.. many things that can be used as a Time Traveling Device. Time travel to the past is theoretically allowed using the following methods:

Traversable wormholes
Traveling faster than the speed of light
The use of cosmic strings and black holes
Wormholes and Alcubierre 'warp' drive

Of course there is a machine that can travel through time,
it is called, "A Time Machine." It was first invented in 1895 AD
by H.G.Wells, he describes it in detail in his book, "The Time Machine." Later Dr. Emit Brown, invented the flux capacitor,
from which he was able to invent a different time machine,
made out of a 1985 Delorian sports car. For more information on this machine, see the movie " Back To The Future." It shows in detail how this time machine works. Also in Various episodes of
all the star trek series the crew manages to travel through time using a number of various methods.

Dear,
'Time machine' no matching u will find. But in industries time card and stop watch for time study is available.
The time card is to be inserted in to the punching clock (as u say or we call time machine) and it will punch the time whenever u insert. It will be given to all the employees and they will use while going in and coming out. Based on this salary will be issued. Another one is stop watch which is used to measure time taken for machining a object and also the same we can see in sports they will use to measure the running time of the persons. These are also coming to be out dated now. every thing is computerised or electronics ya!

No, there's no such thing (at least publicly known). It's a machine that could transport you forwards or backwards in time. Set the dial for 1776 and watch the American Revolution. Or set it for 3007 and see the next millennium.

traveling back into the past is very possible...you just have to warp space and time...just submerge yourself in a blackhole or a wormhole, and whooosh! you'll get yourself in what ever time in the past you desire....but the very great problem is this...you must make an extra-super durable vehicle that can overcome the force of billions of megatons the blackhole is able to pull you--a vehicle which could take you there and return you in the present...coz even light which has fastest speed in the universe cannot escape from there.....

Yep they're called sedimentary rocks and, if you become a geologist, you can read them... well it's the closest thing to really travelling through time.

f you travel at the speed of light (approaching of course) {it would take infinite energy to have an object greater in mass than a proton to go at c(speed of light)} then the time relative to you would be the same, but relative to us, you are moving in slow mo.
