I think education sadly. I am a diploma holder but I am very driven person and committed to work. I dont get as much opportunities as a degree holder would. They wouldnt even wanna see me for interviews once they know my qualitfications! I say both are important but education weighs more. Yes I have heard of non educated struggling ppl who made it big. I think these ppl are intelligent and have the means to carry out their goals in terms of being in right place and right time - luck. I really respect them. We can work our ar-se off but how many of us can have all the luck in the world eh?

To me...willing to try is the most important but you must have a very STRONG WILL to get what you want.Just depending on education cannot determine one's success. There are many people even with low education can be successful.

I think willing to try is more important than just an education. Education without willing to try it's NONSENSE !!!
How we know the think it's right if we don't try it??
Knowledge not about how to study them but also with trying them.. so willing to try it's more valuable than just studying.

Successful people have one thing in common: they've worked very hard to get where they are. I've known people who never went to college and became very successful. I've also known people that got a college degree but were lazy and unmotivated, so they didn't make anything of themselves. While a college degree does make it easier to advance in society, there are many people (I know of many many business owners with just a high school diploma) who are very successful because of their motivation, dedication, and eagerness to their field.

Work and education equally. In my field it takes both. You have to have the theory to do the job but you have to have the hands on work experience as well.

What miss Georgia says is right. You cannot depend on luck alone, neither can you depend on intelligence alone, both have to be backed up by a degree, one with very good grades and marks. all the best.
