This is a serious question, and I don't intend for this to be taken as perverted. I keep getting orange stains on my brown sheets and brown clothing. I haven't used a new detergent or anything. They just keep showing up. It looks like a bleach stain, but I don't use bleach. I don't even have any in my house...if you have any suggestions, please help! Thanks

Also, the stains don't wash out, they are permanent.

It is probably some type of face cream, itch cream, or lotion that you're using. Anything with hydrocortisone cream in it can stain like that or benzoil perodixe, commonly found in face cream and things like that.

I do believe you are experiencing Rust Stains. Combat rust with 2 Cups of Lime or Lemon Juice in the Washing Cycle with the Hottest Water Setting. May take 2 or 3 times. For other suggestions see: http://www.ehow.com/how_15252_clean-washing-machine.html

It must be something you are using to wash your clothes with since sheets and clothes are getting the stains.

orange is the base color of brown so it has to be some kind of bleach, could it be bleach from a house cleaner? something you use to clean your bathroom. bleach from your hair?
