I say that if they can't see eye to eye...... take a picture with your Kodiak, send it to each..... and then just grin and bear it.

Polar bears are in the North and Penguins are in the south.

However, the Great Auk was originally called Penguin (before penguins were named or discovered in the south). Unfortunately, there are no more Great Auks. They were made extinct by homo sapiens. So, there aren't any penguins in the north anymore.

i got a violation for this exact question - pah - yahoo is weird.

They are definitely pole apart - North and South.

Never Eat Shredded Wheat - NESW.

But Pole questions are good in Polls and Surveys - they have Antartic surveys too - lol
