Moulding a terrorist mind:
Happy people are peaceful people. People are happy when left alone to have a job have a family and create their own security in peace, if you take that away that makes people angry. angry people do illogical things in anger to get revenge on their disturbance of happiness, which is what terrorism is about.
So to make them this angry you'd start by attacking their country,
killing their family friends and relatives
destroying their lives by destroying the infrastructure and stability of their country and economy.
In my opinion that would make any innocent bystanding young person angry enough to be capable of a lot of bad things. chuck them in a group of other young angry people then they have a cause and their anger will be amplified.

If you know his background ..... then Give him a wrong news that his family is killed by his co-terrorists and also seek support of his family so that they may vacate their place for a month or so which will make him sure of the news and then convince him against the terrorists.
or if you dont know him then shoot him down as he cannot be convinced in any other manner as they are brainwashed to a very high degree.

Why would anyone hate others so much that they would want to do such terrible things to them. Terrorism seems like the most cowardly thing one could do. If you have issues w/ others you should be man/woman enough to state your concerns/objections and use your communication and problem solving skills to resolve your issues diplomatically. Any idiot can take lives, it takes men/women to resolve conflict without resorting to primitive actions and violence.

he looks at things in the world,doesn't like them,he hooks up with a person who espouses an ideology that offers a simplistic solution (sometimes violent).what happens to him is an alternately control-persuasion-reinforcement-praise process.
