Where your pay is not deducted or cut down and you get paid even on hoildays......its mostly the ' due holidays ' which you are entitled on the type of job you do. There are variations on job rules......I don't know what type of job you do or what are your ' job holiday rules' .

Holidays that are paid. Normally, a person does not have to work on a holiday, and when the company pays the employee for working although they are not working on the holiday, that is a paid holiday. Now, if you should work on a paid holiday, most companies double your pay for you working on a holiday.
