I've been having my period for almost 2 weeks now. I'll be going to the dr after I've cleared up, but can anyone tell what kind of questions to ask? What are some of the symtoms you've had?

Night sweats- believe me- you'll know one when you feel it. Also, bitchier and more emotional overall.

Oh its really fun, lets see sweating so bad at night and after you take a shower that my hair wont even dry.It affects everyone differently my periods were like i was hemmoraging for 8 years, this last oct. I had a hysterectomy but left in the ovaries so I woulndnt go into complete sudden menapause.I did have some mood changes for a little while but I stopped that on my own because I said I never wanted to get like that, plus I use progesterone cream and take black cohosh.Good luck its not the worst thing in the world its more discomfort.

Hi
I stopped menstruating (yay) when I was about 45 I think, and then had off and on semi-hot flashes, but I don't recall them being anywhere as bad as some of the women I have heard speak about theirs. I just had the window open a lot in the winter (hehehe). I wasn't particularly crabby or depressed, because I had decided that I wasn't going to be.... it wasn't necessary to change my personality. I had resolved quite a few of the issues from earlier in my life using a variety of methods, of note: e f t the energy therapy that is easy to learn and apply. It was also very helpful for my husband at about the same time.

All the best!
