Portugal won 2 - 0 , I think coach Dunga should reconsider putting Ronaldo back in the team, Ronaldo has more skills & Adriano is not as good as Ronaldo. For 2010 if Ronaldo & Ronaldino are not there playin together like they always do I think Brazil wont stand a chance , Ronaldo needs to be there, I would take an unfit Ronaldo over a fit Adriano any day. Come on the Brazilian team was not good last night & i think if Brazil doesnt find qaulity players like Ronaldo & Ronaldino - they in for a shock because then they wont be that good anymore. Lets hope Ronaldo gets fit , so that Dunga can put him in the team for 2010 because i really want Brazil to win.

Well, the match was just a friendly, and dunga is trying is best to prepare a squad fit enough to face teams like portugal, argentina, etc. Remember that failure is the stepping stone to success. Dunga is really a good coach, he said that he will consider taking ronaldo in the squad, if he performs his best at Milan. Plus, in yesterday's match, ronaldinho and alex did not play because of the injuries. Ronaldinho is sure to be in the world cup 2010, but even i wish ronaldo to play for the 2010 world cup. That would be his last chance to play in a world cup.

I think Brazil did okay for the squad they had on the field. The absence of Ronaldinho, Robinho, Emerson, Roberto Carlos, Dida and Ronaldo (as a possible sub), was felt. What Dunga is doing is trying to prepare a squad that will be a threat in 2010. These freindlies are just freindlies. There is no qualifying here. Ronaldo will be 34 or 35 in 2010 and injury ridden. He has a bad knee with multiple surgeries.
Dunga has a young squad that with the right training and experience will be able to compete and be a major threat. He is in a development stage to get more players ready. He needs replacements for Dida, Cafu, Emerson(maybe), Ronaldo (maybe) and Roberto Carlos. Then put Robinho, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Adriano and Cicinho on the field together then that will be a squad. Ronaldo in 2010 will not be a starter. Give Adriano a break, he was not on the field that long, maybe if he played since the beginning of the game it would have been a different story.
The Brazilian squad had some moments of briliance but dropped it in the back 4. Let's be honest, defense was lacking some. That's my thought on the matter.

It does show that Ronaldo and Ronaldino are key players. But their younger players need to get their act together. I noticed that everyone wanted to be the guy who scored and no one supported KAKA. If they want to win they need to put ego's aside and play as a team. As for 2010 I have no doubt that Brazil will be back in action as the BEST in the world. Last night Portugal just played better with skill and good team work. That should be the key to any sport.

I think that Brazil could play better yesterday if Ronaldinho,Juninho or Rberto Carlos were there!Sorry to say it,but Brazil isn't anymore the team of magicians which was sometimes!Portugal wasn't so good in first half but in the second they played way better!Potugal is a very good team and I think they deserved the World Cup final in France's place.I am proud of Ronaldo because he was the captain of Portugal.FORCA PORTUGAL!

or make the brazils women national team play against Portugal with 11 Cristiano Ronaldo clones and all the women would faint due to the hotness of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo will be likely too old for WC 2010.. Brazil has plenty of strikers to choose from; they dont need an over the hill superstar

They missed Ronaldinho, but the result wasn't so important..just a friendly and more of a training match really. I think Dunga used the game to test out some young players on the fringe of his squad, and generally they did ok.. It is normal for Brasil to take it very easy in friendlly games, and their recent record in them is not good. Portugal had a team who were much more used to playing together, which is why they won.

Brazil seldom play well in friendly game. There are still many young talents in Brazil team, they are still the best team in the world.
