I and my wife love train trips and are thinking of doing something similar in India. We were told that Palace-on-Wheels is a good bet. Has anyone taken this train? What are your impressions? Thanks in advance

take the train through the Kashmir provence.

1)Kashmir provence don't have any train.They are building the line but its going to take 5 more years.
2)Palace-on-Wheels is a good bet but it may be costly to many people and you need to book atleast 1 year in advance to get a ticket on it.(some times its booked fully 3 years in advance).
so now you know how much famous is this train.
Double occupancy rate for single person is 2065.00$ in off season and 2695.00 in peak season (Per Person)
