Not usually something I think of, I find it irritating rather than embarrassing, but they are both guilty of what qualifies as war crimes in my opinion, as they totally disregarded the welfare of civilians. Bush is also guilty of allowing the Guantanamo prison to exist, he not only should be put on trial for war crimes, he should also be given a good kicking. Include Blair in that list of people to give a kicking.

No, look at our relationship with the USA over the last hundred years We are their "little buddies". Embarrassing but true.

Who else could we count on when the chips were down? The Irish would back stab us in a minute, so would the French.

Besides, as America becomes increasingly alienated, reviled and ridiculed in the world , we need to help THEM. at least until they restore democracy that is.

Sorry, I can understand your argument but I think we have much in common with the USA.

Yes to both questions.

We used to be Great Britain but since the Yanks became involved with us we have been brought to Little England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Successive Labour governments have also been bankrupting us with their overspending and being poodles to the Brussels dictatorship.

The UK cannot survive without the US. Thatcher layed the foundations for the handover of the UK to the US years ago, now Blair is following on from where she left off. It`s irreversible.

well the last time you guys opposed us we gave you a serious trouncing, we were out numbered out gunned and out funded and we put the whooping of a century on Britain. i do not mean this to be disrespectful, just stating fact.
And on the subject of Ireland as raised above, Britain did kind of bring the Irish hatred upon themselves. just sayin.

no, no, slightly, and no.

Without the USA our islands would have sunk, and all of us with them, often.

Friends support friends.

Heads of the spy agencies need(ed) firing, not promoting.
Why were they promoted? That seems to implicate our "leaders".

I suppose that you would prefer to have more bombings of the Underground. But that would not be my choice.
