i work through "click dvd" that came with my computer(sony vaio)
when i get to the final stage to burn a dvd it says to put in a recordable dvd...which i do put in. It keeps repeating the same message. So i'm guessing my computer does burn dvd"s

hi toni, if the message says put in a recordable dvd, well, I guess,it is a dvd "burner." Please see to it that what you put in is a blank recordable dvd because this is where the copied files will be recorded. better still, re-read the user manual. you must have missed something important...

To know if you computer burns DVD, look on the DVD ROM to see if it says R/RW

If not, then it cannot burn DVDs.

its simple dear it must be written DVD RW if it has facility to burn DVD's... If not its written as DVD R

look at the front of your pc...does it say you have a dvd writer? or does it just have a cd writer? if it says you have a dvd writer then it should work.

How old are you? If you are over 80 then you have no business messing with computers.
