Th previous $49 was no problem. Even when I turn off all but essential features there is no change. What is solution?

As much as I hate Norton, this sounds like a different issue. Try a clean boot.
Go to "Start, run" type "msconfig" click "ok". You should now see the system configuration utility. Under the "general" tab, uncheck "Load Startup Items" click "apply" then "ok" and restart your pc. If this fixed your problem, open msconfig click the "startup" tab. Start by adding checkmarks to 3 or 4 items in a row then "apply, ok" and restarting your computer until you find what startup item is causing your probs. Once you find the one item that is causing your issues you can just leave it unchecked, or figure out the program and uninstall it.

that's weird usually norton works fine and i never had any problem with it the only problem is that it make the computer load too much when it starts the windows it must be something u did in the windows that did that but any way if u want a good antivirus use kaspersky internet security or zonealarm suite and i recommand to u to check the printer driver u use or reinstall the windows or restore it to the day before this happen and try to contact norton to see what happen but i don't think they will help u much

I've never had an problems with Norton, or Symantec products. I've used Norton Internet Security and Norton Anti-Virus software for years, sometimes when you first install Norton Internet Security, you have to spend some time with what you'll allow to happen, and what you won't, but it's never affected any of my imaging software. Please try to make sure that all programs on your computer are up-dated, especially your imaging software. Updates to drivers are critical with imaging software.

Sounds like something different is going on, I have used Norton on all of my home systems and I use the corporate version at work and have never had a problem with them. Sounds like something changed in your display properties, what's your resolution set at? I would be surprised if this had anything to do with Norton.

When I had norton security it gave me so many problems I finally
deleted it and found something better. If your alreay having problems dump it before it gets worse. Yep you may have just lost your 59.00 but live and learn.
