Unfortunately, you cannot. Cutting lenses down alters the prescription and pupilary measurements. There are a few tools and adjustments that can be done to make a bridge on the nose and the arms wider. Any optical facility and trained optician should be able to help you. You should also look into their exchange policy. A lot of the major opticals offer 30 day exchange policy.

you may have to go back to where you bought them..most of the time if you try to put lenses into other frames they don't fit correctly and the lense falls out or if the trim the lense down to fit a new pair of frames then it can mess up the prescription..don't chance it take them back chances are they will help replace them at no extra charge because the fit is not correct....if they don't then report the to the Better Business Bureau

Just the other day I had to get a stronger perscription for my glasses, and since I didn't want to change frames (I've gotten attached to them over the years and I'm used to the fit) the lenses were shaped to fit them.

The price range to put your lenses into more frames is going to depend entirely on what frames you choose. Also, unless you're able to accurately judge from a picture what frames will fit your lenses, it's better to find a store that can change them.

The magnification of the lenses might be what makes ones eyes appear larger or smaller. Generally the magnification calls for special thickness. Look at your self in a reflect with one eye included with a magnifying glass lens and you can see what I imply.

You can go to a more local Dr. and have them help you find a frame similar that will work with your lenses...it can be done, I know cuz I've done it!

If this is a rimless pair you can make a bigger shape lenses and replace the current lenses so it will become a much wider or bigger pair of eyeglasses.
