America has paid a big price for peace and democracy in Iraq. Iraqi people are worst sufferers. Different group must develop understanding and desist from killing their own brothers. We should pray for success of present efforts.

First of all the "Bush lied about WMD's" is SO old and so weak an argument. Have you EVER counted how many of our other politicians and other countries (who had spies in Iraq) said that Iraq had WMD's????
I don't like war period, but you people need to get over yourselves. As long as we were kicking butt 90% of the people in this country were gung ho. Now that things get tough, 75% of the people are like little spoiled brats ready to take their toys and go home.
If many of you were in charge of this country throughout history we would still have black slaves, only have blonde-haired blue eyed people, and probably be under communist rule.
If you are SO against this country and what we stand for and our influence in the world, MOVE TO IRAN or NORTH KOREA or THE SUDAN or somewhere else and then you can tell me how BAD America is.
I agree we have made mistakes in the war, but sitting back as an arm-chair quaterback criticizing is WAY too easy for you. I think our military is beginning to understand that the biggest flaw is that we don't really understand our enemy!
NO, WE WILL NOT KILL OR CAPTURE EVERY BAD GUY, BUT WE CAN AND MUST WIN THE WAR BY SETTING UP A FUNCTIONING GOV'T ABLE TO OPERATE EFFECTIVELY AND MANAGE IRAQ. Look outside Baghdad and the Anbar province. Most of Iraq is thriving and doing just fine. We see on TV the worst of the worst. That's the only story. War is bloody, war has costs, war is a last resort, war is not a picnic. GRAB A HISTORY BOOK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD AND DISCOVER WHY YOU ARE EVEN HERE!

Yes, without a doubt! The war was started on lies and should be ended before any more of our men and women die in the civil war that now grips the Iraq people!

its the same thing next year we will still be letting the big guy do as he will and then the death toll will be yet higher
bully is appearing to be the one who set up the position for the bully ,one day the bully gets put in his seat ,but till then what do we do let them both sides be better trained
better equiped ,we are the one suppliing the expetise to keep this cival war going ,the facts dont mention the drain of 3 million running away from iraq ,the money to buy more arms our servicmen and woman are pumping into a destabilised war zone
we must soon leave or later
144 ,ooo may be the toll if we leave or it could be double but we stay or go only to let things get worse ,what difference are we doing at what cost

whos buisness could that be

they [we set up sadman] now we set up the stooge get out and stay outm till they sort it out
give each side a chit to drop 10 bombing missions on the target of thier choice and responsability
divide the country into small fiefdoms ,empower many dictators but get out.

Yes it should. Don't you think it's gone on long enough? If American troops were pulled out of Iraq there may still be some resistance & mayham from rebels but I don't believe it would be as serious or as often. And I truely believe the Iraqi people are intelligent & capable enough to defend themselves. Most of them really don't want us there & aren't interested in being "Americanized". They want to get back to living their lives in their own way.

No, this war, while high in costs, is doing something that needs to be done. We are fighting evil. If we leave we will be dooming thousands of people alive and yet to be born to a reign of terror. Yes, many people are dieing, but they are fighting evil and for a cause. They say the USA is causing the problem, but we are not the ones blowing up markets and cutting the heads off of people on camera. People accuse the USA of torture for depriving sadistic murders of sleep and email; yet ignore the terrorist beheading innocent people with a box cutter and video taping it. The people dieing in Iraq are dieing for a cause, they are fighting evil, whether the judge who is not afraid to sentence a terrorist or the solider fighting the terrorists they die resisting evil. If we run there will be no death fighting evil, it will be because you worshiped the wrong god or were born to a certain group, not because you want to be free or want to help someone who isn’t. If we leave the terrorists have won, people who will not hesitate killing innocent men, women and children to strike fear in the hearts of the weak, there by accomplishing their goal of using fear to subdue justice. If we leave, we validate the terrorist’s mentality that if you want something all you have to do is kill a random person and people will submit to your will. I don’t know about you but one hundred deaths fighting evil is better than one death living in peace with it.

It never should have started! Have you noticed that Bush's description of "victory" in Iraq is now: "a stable Iraq with one leader that is able to defend itself from its neighbors". Uhhh... I believe that is exactly how you would have described Iraq BEFORE Bush killed 3000+ soldiers wasted half a trillion dollars, and killed 100,000's of Iraqis.

Of course. Pres. Bush lied to the whole country telling us there were Weapons of Mass Destruction. He told us the terrorists were there. He told us it would only cost 50 billion. All of these were lies. Osama wasn't there...he was in Afghanistan. The terrorists didn't show up until after the U.S. arrived. There were no WMDs. The cost is now 170 billion. YIKES. Let's get out and save ourselves while we still can.

Very hard to say. The war to start was stupid no doubt. But, to leave now may be stupid. Iraq was not much of a threat to us before we invaded. It is quite possible it will become a threat if we leave and it errupts into chaos. Breading ground for terrorists.

No because as soon as we leave then all of America will be like we should help those poor people. They just don't like the way the media spins the war around to get ratings.
