You might get along just fine, but to educate those that say there are no problems caused by circumcision read on.

To linda: that "loose skin" contains more than half of the nerves of the penis, what do you think would happen to your sexual pleasure if you lost half of yours?

You should realize that there is a very real risk of loss of sensitivity for the man, and other bad effects, as this study shows.

Excerpts from the report:
Masood S, Patel HR, Himpson RC, Palmer JH, Mufti GR, Sheriff MK.
OBJECTIVES: Currently no consensus exists about the role of the foreskin or the effect circumcision has on penile sensitivity and overall sexual satisfaction. Our study assesses the effect of circumcision on sexually active men and the relative impact this may have on informed consent prior to surgery.
Penile sensation improved after circumcision in 38% (p = 0.01) but got worse in 18%, with the remainder having no change. Overall satisfaction was 61%.
CONCLUSIONS: Penile sensitivity had variable outcomes after circumcision. The poor outcome of circumcision considered by overall satisfaction rates suggests that when we circumcise men, these outcome data should be discussed during the informed consent process. 2005 S. Karger AG, Basel

One out of five men circumcised suffers loss of sensitivity and one out of three is not satisfied with the results, these are not very good odds. I would point out that while this study shows that adult men should be warned of the possibility of sensitivity loss before they can give "informed consent" to circumcision, there is no way that a newborn boy can give his informed consent to an elective procedure that has a 1 in 3 chance of leaving him with an impaired sex-life.

His body. His choice.

NO BODY NEEDS TO HAVE SURGERY TO PLEASE SOMEONE ELSE!

You also need to know that if something goes wrong, there really is no effective way to repair the damage. It involves too many small nerves that can not be recovered.

Circumcision doesn't usually remove all sexual response, it doesn't always cause painful intercourse, but it still causes damage to the penis and takes feeling away; it becomes more evident as the penis dries up with age. I don't debate with circumcision advocates because most of them are guilty of denying basic anatomy when they say circumcision has no effect or improves the penis' sense of touch. It has been demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt that many nerves, blood vessels, and other erogenous tissues are removed by circumcision. it's scientifically and logically ridiculous to say that it's not harmful. Many doctors admit they don't use pain relief when circumcising babies because they claim it only hurts for a very short time; some even say there's no pain at all. It shows how poorly educated they really are; I find the fact that they're allowed to practice medicine incredibly insulting to my intelligence.

There shouldnt be any problems whatsoever. They just trimmed off the long loose skin from around your penis. It is very beneficial to have this done as the penis stays clean and neat all the time.
The majority of women prefer the looks of a circumcised penis over an uncircumcised one.

It's unfortunate that you had it done, as it cuts down on sexual pleasure for you and your wife, but once it's done, there's not much you can do to change it, so live with it the best you can. Lots of circumcised men get along just fine.

It's good man, you wont have no smegma to clean up 7 times a day, I looked it up and I hear lots of infections can happen with an uncircumsized penis.
