Do you have to pay for it? Will it slow down my computer ? are there lots of pop-ups? etc.

The site provides a free data sharing software called "Limewire" and through that software you can download most of the files you search for free.

It doesn't cost anything to use it or download it, I'd assume that it depends on the computer you have whether it'll slow it down or not, it doesn't slow mine down though and it's 3 years old...it's pretty useful.

paired beautifully with High chances of virus's. ive seen a few people distroy their system because they downloaded the wrong program/file/movie/song

Limewire is a sharing softer. Ptp or something i forgot. its pretty useful. However you have to be aware of the files you "download" and "Open". Since some may contain virus's.

it's great, it has a great selection of music. I've had it for the past year and a half and love it! I'd say do it.
