The problem with water in a bowl is the mice will try to cover it up with bedding, which results in no water and rather wet bedding. Not a win win situation at all. The best bet would be to buy a new bottle or if you can not afford that make the one you have work.
For your falling waterbottle get a piece of wire and fashion it into a holder.
If you have a wire cage fashion it so it goes around the bottle and hooks to the wires. Twist Ties will work for this as well. If they have the metal interior
If you have a glass cage then Shape it like the hanging V type holders with the bottom of the V bent to old the bottle.

hi there!! she will more than likely drink out of the dish, although it will cause u more trouble than the falling water bottle. the water dish will get poop, pee, bedding, grit etc in it, as well as being frequently tipped over by the mouse. if u dont want to go but a new water bottle holder, just fashion ur own one out of a wire coat hanger! i accidentally threw out my water bottle holder when i was cleaning my rats cage, so i just made a new one! works just as well! good luck! =)

speaking from experience breeding and raising mice it's not a good idea. they tend to fall into water dishes and she could possibly drown. take a metal coat hanger and straighten it out, then wrap it tightly around the bottle and then hang it from the top of the cage if it's an aquarium. another thing you can do if you have a wire cage is use twist ties around the bottle and then twisted tightly around the bars.

Yes, but you will have to clean it several times a day to make sure it stays clean. She will undoubtedly get bedding and feces in it.

u pick to tug the floor on the bottom of her neck up and enable flow and if it is going down slowly she is dehydrated and u pick to take her 2 the vets at cutting-edge. if it is going down enormously quick then i think she is superb, yet u could nevertheless take her to the vets
