no,a corn snake is not poisonous. a corn snake can be mistaken for the copperhead which is dangerous. a corn snake can be kept as a pet and you can get them from most pet shops. the corn snake is also the easiest snake to care for and are NOT aggressive. if you want more info on corn snakes you could do some research from books or the internet. i recommend www.cornsnake.co.uk as angel gives some very useful info.i hope my info has helped.

No! corn snakes are not poisonous. They're also one of the most docile snakes. They're a really great choice for a pet if you do your research.

First if all no snake is poisonous. Snakes are venomous. And no corn snakes are not venomous.
"Popular in the pet trade, they are known for being smaller and more docile than other snake species. They are non-venomous, another reason why they are often kept as pets or breeders."

the only poisonous snakes indigenous to the United States that I've ever heard of are the rattlesnake, the copperhead, the water moccasin, and the coral snake (often confused with the king snake).

If they were, I'd be dead.
But for the guy who listed the poisonous snakes in the U.S., he should add Hognosed Snakes, though their venom has little effect on a human.
