If any of you saw the original performed in 1994, you could never say Cash. It was incredible and meant something.

The original is honestly better listening but I love that Johnny Cash did it and it seemed so truly painful coming from him, heartbreaking even. It's a toss up but I'd go with Johnny.

Johnny Cash's version, even though I'm a huge NIN fan.

Cash's version just seems to have much more feeling and pain in it.

I haven't even heard the song from either artist(s) and I'm going to say the Johnny Cash one is better. Rock music is just pitiful.
