I just don't get it. Why is it cool to wear the jeans below the bottom, where they are just about to fall off? How could anyone's parents allow their child to walk out the door like that? Does anyone understand what this trend is all about?

Dragonball ... that's funny. I agree, it definitely looks like they are carrying around a load in their pants. AND, they have to keep their legs spread apart just to keep the darn things up.

Best thing you can do is just ignore it. Just let the fashion trend go its way, something else will come up, some other fashion paradigm. The fashion goes with the "coolness" of rap music spilling over into mainstream consciousness. If you listen to the words contained therein, you might understand this particular "fashion" a bit more. It was never supposed to be attractive, just useful.

I NEVER understood it, it has been a trend for a long time, it looks ridiculous if you ask me. They get pants that are several times bigger than their normal size. It's crazy and it's a waste of money. Don't ask me what parents are thinking when the allow that, maybe some of them don't even notice or they try to say something and the kid just doesn't care.

The trend started in prison and adopted by street gangs and later the general public. As I was informed it is a way an inmate has to tell the other males that he wants sex. Sorry it seems crass but is this the message that you want your young man to give to other men, pedophiles and the like?

Actually that trend isnt as worse as it used to be... But we (kids) follow anything that people say is cool. And its been around for years and it just wont die.

NO not at all! I don't get it! I have three little boys and they are still too young to get into the "fade" things...but when they do this is one thing I will definitely say "NO" to! It's ridiculous!
