For that serious question I have a very serious answer.

Take your purple or white turnip and a small saw and cut a hole in your favorite tree. Place the turnip inside the tree.

I hope you are intelligent enough to know the rest of the answer!

I didn't think white and purple turnips barked, but I shall ask my friend, and personal Super Hero, Village Idiot Man for assistance.
It may take some time to get an answer back to you, as it's his darts night at the pub.

Oh wow, at first I was thinking a turnip has bark? A term I was unaware of, but then I was reading the answeres and OMG how funny. (I am not blonde, just not awake yet...took the day off and it is early) No offense to any blondes!

Well, first you have to figure out how to get a head of lettuce to meow, once you achieve that, then you can get the turnip to bark. ESPECIALLY since it's a purple and white one.

Well...

Don't feed it at normal feeding times for three days.....

Replace feeding times with continuous kicks to the ribs...

That strategy has got my dogs barking at me. Maybe it works for white and purple turnips too????

I know, but why should I tell you the secret to it? Do you think I just fell off the turnip truck yesterday?

Offer it turnip treats. Threaten to mash it if it doesn't bark.

First catch your turnip. It all becomes clear if you remember to eat up your mushrooms.

Have you ever thought about having a child, or maybe a small animal to keep you company? Your loneliness is turning into an unhealthy attatchment to the items in your refrigerator. Just don't get too attatched to that cucumber.........
