i am kind of confused......need help identifying the writing of this philosopher..........?

i think his name is augestine and i something to do with Epictetus, A.A long. and Wittgenstein. and it all has to do with solipsism and it refutations??

sorry if i am being to vaugue, but its the best i can do.

Augustine? He was the guy who reputedly coined the phrase "original sin"

Maybe you could directly read about Epictetus, Long and Wittgenstein. What you described doesn't sound like anything i've read.
