First I choose the best looking one for my tastes..always waterproof and preferrably with a metal bracelet since plastic and leather smells bad when its wet. It has to have numerals and be relatively large. I don't have the time or patience to guess!

My taste has changed over the years, Of late, I like a watch with a leather band.(black) and a small face, with all the numbers, and if I can, I like to have the date.
