I am starting a carpet cleaning business and want to go S Corp. but i can't afford a lawyer right now so I want to start as a sole proprietorship to get started. If i can incorporate my then existing can i still use my ficticious name and also how difficult would this transition be? Also, My accountant can set me up for less than a lawyer but they only help you with so much information and most the time don't give advice.I know some basics of what an s corp is but do not know all the ins and outs. this is a Florida based company if it helps any.
