What is the best site for starting a free blog???

Blogger is the internet's (according to Google, who owns it) biggest free blogging website. It's pretty easy. There's just three steps to set up your blog, and they are fairly customizable. I like the interface; it's easy to use, but you can get technical if you want to.
I've has a blog through Blogger for over a year.

Considering the problems with Myspace recently, I'd definitely go with Yahoo - blogs.
